SDL Music Album of the Month: Astral Surfers, Murray McNabb Group

The New Year is upon us and to celebrate our January SDL Music Album of the Month is Murray McNabb’s 2009 eclectic album, Astral Surfers. A collection of transcendental, meditative compositions that bring together artists and instruments from around the world.

At that time I used to give my dentist a copy of all the albums we were releasing. In our, usually one way, conversations during dental check ups, we would talk about music and turns out he was a fan of many genres. After I sent him the Astral Surfers CD I received a letter from him expressing how much he enjoyed the album and that we should be proud of it. Critics be damned, if your dentist likes it, it must be a good one.

This album from the SDL Music back catalogue stands the test of time. Another one for your summer playlist!
